Title: Reviewing cultural, religious and human rights of minorities recognised in New Zealand

♦️Subjects: fundamental human rights of minorities in Global context and in New Zealand; recognition of human rights by New Zealand statutes; various types of human rights for minorities, Muslim rights, cultural rights; how human rights can be enforced; processes to make an official complaint when a human right issue needs to be heard.

♦️Place: Under craft, University if Canterbury.

Duration: 90 mins, 15 mins break in between. 15 mins for Q&A at the end.

♦️Presenter: Dr. Amir Bastani. LLB, MA, PhD in Law from Otago University, and a former Lawyer from Iran.

♦️Language: Persian (including Dari) for the presentation, materials will be in plain English.
